Automotive Service and Tire Repair Customer Comments
To
paint the picture, my husband is deployed and my car would not start on 3
separate occasions, leaving me stranded on the hottest days of the year. I was
dreading taking my car in to the dealership to be at their mercy. At the
recommendation of my brother, I took my car in to Community Tire. I can't begin
to tell you how refreshing it was to receive such friendly service, an honest
diagnosis and to have the work performed with such expertise at a very modest
price. It is very apparent that customer service is as important to Community
Tire as the work they perform. Mike answered all of my questions and when I
showed up a few minutes after 5:00 to pick up my car, Justin was very cordial
and patiently answered any other questions I had about future repair work I may
need.
To say the least, I will never take my car anywhere but Community Tire for
service and will recommend Community Tire to all of my friends, family and
colleagues.
With Most Sincere Thanks,
Cathy A
Community
Tire, I just wanted to say thank you for the excellent service on my vehicles.
First, My wife\'s Mini Cooper had been taken to the Mini dealership for an oil
change and some warranty work. The dealership informed us an alignment was
suggested for the car. The cost:$260.00! I said no, and decided to try Comm.
Tire. We had previous experience with Community when we had enrolled our son in
a driver safety course. I was impressed with the additional car maintenance
course offered by Comm. Tire.
After checking the alignment on the Cooper , we were told that no alignment was
needed. In addition, the shop did not charge us for the check!
Two weeks later , our Tundra developed an antifreeze leak. I was thinking it was
a bad pump or leaking seal. Normally ,I would attempt this job myself. (I have
had bad luck with repair shops in the past), but I\'m getting older and do not
relish working in a hot garage! ) The Tundra was taken to CT for an appt. An
initial inspection indicated a blown head gasket. Estimated cost; $3900.00!!! I
was not happy, to say the least. I was told the repair would take approx. 2
weeks. I need the 2000 Tundra for infrequent trips to Mexico, so it had to be
fixed. During the wait for repairs, Willie informed me of ongoing repairs. Two
and half weeks passed. Willie called me at work and told me They were wrong
about the repair and estimate . Turns out , a antifreeze bypass hose under the
manifold had a pinhole leak. This was the source of the leak. Cost for the
repair was now ,$868.00. Imagine my surprise! Community Tire could have charged
the full price for the repair and I
wouldn\'t have been the wiser! My family and I went out for a nice celebratory
dinner that night.
In todays age , HONESTY is hard to find. Community Tire lives by this motto. In
the future all my vehicles will go to Community Tire. All my friends and
associates will learn about my experience. Thank You once again. Bill L.
I
just wanted to say that my parents and I have been going to the community tire
on University for years now and they have consistently been excellent. Their
honesty and integrity have always been evident. John and Witness have helped me
personally when I was stuck on the road or about to pay way too much at another
shop for unnecessary repairs. The service has always been timely and of the
highest quality. I literally only have good things to say about them!
Thanks Community Tire!!

Thank
you very much for delivering excellent service. Your employees were very honest
and reliable. They explained in detail what my vehicles needed for repairs and
service. I felt very confident in your employees in servicing my vehicles and I
plan to continue to bring my vehicles in for service.

Dear
Howard and Tony,
This letter is long overdue. You’ve been taking care of my vehicles for five
years. Everything you’ve done has been perfect, on time and received and
delivered with gracious courtesy.
At my rather advanced age, I profoundly appreciate folks who know their work and
care about it—that’s you!
Your expertise and integrity are rare and precious in today’s world. Example:
when you just flushed the transmission fluid in my car, although you estimated a
charge of $109; the figure turned out to be $88. You explained that my little
compact needed less fluid that you had estimated, and you passed that savings
along to me without my knowing to ask!
My association with you has really been, and continues to be, a bright spot in
my life that encourages me about sutl9 expertise and ethical standards with
which we can “do our thing.”

car repair.
If this letter seems “over the top,” that’s just because it is a true
appreciation of your work (and integrity of character).
Thank you so very much,

New

My
husband & I want to express our sincere thanks and
appreciation to John Culbert and his crew, at 4139 E.
University Dr., who went beyond the call of duty to help our
daughter who was stranded on the freeway with two ruined
tires. We purchased the tires, from Community Tire in
Glendale, along with the road hazard plan. Our daughter,
Lauren, was on her way home from work, around 4:00 P.M., and
hit what looked like a plastic bag but something sliced into
both tires on the right side and they were flat within
seconds. Anybody, especially a single girl, stranded on the
freeway interchange during rush hour was not a safe place to
be. I phoned John about 4:15 and explained our dilemma and
gave him Lauren's cell number so he could talk to her
directly. John & crew to the rescue! He took over and sent
someone out to assess the damage. Learning that two tires
were shot John arranged for a tow truck. He also called the
store in Glendale and had our info faxed to him. His store
did not have the tires needed so he dispatched one of his
guys to another location to pick them up. Long story short,
the tow truck was stuck in traffic (never arrived), John
sent a couple guys out to the car, they removed the tires &
rims on the spot, took them back to their shop, mounted &
balanced the new tires, brought them back to the car and
reinstalled them and Lauren was on her way home before 5:45
PM!. I'm sure that some other tire store would have said;
have the car towed and we'll fix it tomorrow, leaving Lauren
stranded without transportation. Thank you, thank you, again
for going beyond the call of duty, staying late, and for
turning a stressful situation into a happy ending. Community
Tire is where we will do our automotive business in the
future.
Sincerely,
Carolyn & Tom B.Glendale, AZ
Hi Casey,
Just a note back to say THANK YOU again for the excellent service. You are a great bunch of people. I am so impressed with the service and kindness that I received when I come in to have my car checked. I dropped my car off on April 20th to have it looked over. I was concerned about a noise which I thought was the transmission. After it was all said and done, Casey explained it all to me in a language that I could understand and there was no charge. I could hardly believe my ears. The fluids were all checked out as well. I was so happy. It made my day; I was expecting bad news or a big bill which I can ill afford.
Casey, you and the other guys have won me over as a permanent customer. I will never take my car anywhere else as long as I live. Also, I will tell all my friends how great you are.
Sincerely Yours,
Mardi
Tony fixes things on my car like he would on his own vehicle. All the guys have done excellent work & your word is Gold.

Thank You for taking the time not just to explain (several times), but to actually show me what you had done and for describing the labor you did on my invoice.

Always appreciate the prompt & courteous service. I take my vehicle to 15812 N. 32 nd St. location. They are very thorough and professional; always tell me what my vehicle needs and also what it does not need. Very honest. My compliments to Les Maus at the service desk.

Thanks Casey for advising us to get new rear tires. We drove 2,450 miles to Texas and the car handled great! You are very dependable and honest! See you soon for another oil change.

Howard,
I just wanted to let you know how happy I am with Nitrogen in my tires. I can not believe the difference!! I work for ToFixIt.com with Tracey Soto your business consultant. She advised me of it so I thought what the heck,WOW!
I also think Community Tire and ToFixIt will be a winning punch for both us.
Sincerely,
Dennis Kyle
Gentlemen,
Just a small note of appreciation and thanks. We were able to take advantage of your free offer to put nitrogen in our tires. But, above and beyond that kindly offer may we report the diligence, courtesy, attention to the task and competence that we found when we reported for our appointment on the part of ALL the staff at the 32nd Street near Greenway. We especially wish to thank and compliment Casey who managed our experience and Lin who engineered our job. Please thank them for us and because of their actions you have made a new and loyal customer.
Respectfully,
Howard & Vida Purnick
Hi Howard,
We've had nothing but bad luck with our vehicles lately, so I've been seeing your son a lot lately at the Glendale location. :) Last week we came in because the battery on my wife's van went out. Turns out it was replaced a while back, though neither my wife nor I remembered. Howard could have charged us for a new one, but instead apologized that the current one had gone bad before it's time and replaced a new one for free.
This week we had to get a new AC unit put in. I told my wife that with as much car trouble as we have, the quality service we get from you should
pay off handsomely over time! :) Thanks again for running a great
business!
Thanks Howard!

Major repair to Mercedez
I did some research and found out that Community Tire and Auto was certified to work on my Mercedes Benz (I had a negative experience with Phoenix Motor Company).
After being told about the major repair to my car I did some fact checking online and found out that the technician was 100% accurate and the price they quoted me was fair. After doing the repair, the vacuum hose and other fuel pump related work, my car now performs at around 32 or 35 mpg on the highway whereas it used to be 28 mpg. These folks are honest and talented!

I used to take my car to the Toyota dealership because of the warranty, and relied on them to tell me when work needed to be done (sometimes that worked). Well, I was talking with a friend and he mentioned that I needed to replace my Drive Belt/Chain, so I called your shop and made an appointment. It turns out the Toyota dealership did do it with part of some maintenance, and your guys notified me and didn't repeat the service just to get the income, nor did they charge me and not do the service. I'm very impressed with the Integrity of your operation.
Thank you!
